In 2018 SPECIALIZED introduced ANGi (Angular and GForce indicator) technology, a device that is incorporated into much of the brand's helmet range, offering a unique safety feature in addition to the already impressive protection of SPECIALIZED helmets.

The ANGi device is a real-time locator, impact detector and safety beacon when paired with the SPECIALIZED Ride App.

It consists of a sensor with accelerometer and gyroscope to determine the intensity of your accident and immediately executes a countdown on your mobile to send an emergency signal to your contacts.

For the system to work, you have to install the SPECIALIZED Ride app.

If you fall and don't need assistance, you can easily cancel it, but in case the countdown comes to an end, the message will be sent to your selected contacts with your latest GPS coordinates.

The sensor is compatible with all ANGi ready headsets and is powered by a cr2032 battery with an approximate duration of 6 months.
